I just graduated from San Diego State University with a BA in psychology. People would describe me as energetic, bubbly, thoughtful, creative and outgoing. Currently, I am working part time as a Registered Behavioral Technician at B.E.S.T. Autism Services. Earlier this year I was working part time as a stand up paddle board instructor and interning at San Diego Center for Children. Previously, I was a camp councilor for 2 years at a dyslexic summer camp and 1 year at my hometown’s recreation center summer camp. I have babysat for kids around my neighborhood, as well as for families from the summer camps since Read more I was 15 years old. I have experience in tutoring elementary and middle school students. I am very patient and really enjoy getting to know the families I work with. I enjoy coming up with fun activities that different kids will love rather than just giving them electronic time. My favorite activities usually involve the outdoors, crafts, games, sports, and/or creative pretend play. I have a reliable, kid safe car that I can drive the kids around if needed. I am happy to cook, clean and put your kids to bed as well as help them with any daily tasks they need to complete. I think safety, empathy, open communication, specific guidelines and humor are important to establish mutual respect between the sitter and child.
