My name is Jacelyn! I'm originally from San Diego, CA, and recently moved to New York City to begin my Ph.D. program at NYU. I received my B.A. from UCLA in 2019 before moving to the South to pursue a research fellowship with Stanford, Princeton, and the Federal Reserve Bank. While I possess special interests in social sciences and liberal arts, prior to moving to NYC, I spent the last 2 years working as a 7th-grade math teacher in Houston, TX, where I hold a teaching certification in core subjects for grades 4-8. I have extensive experience working with diverse age groups, as I grew up babysitting and tutoring children from various backgrounds and ages. I enjoy art, sports, and recreational activities and hope to share these interests with your children.
