Hi there, my name is Jacquelyn. I’m 24 years old, new to the San Diego area, and looking for a job as a full-time nanny, house sitter, and/or animal caretaker :) As the oldest of four sisters, I’ve cared for children of all ages since my early teens & have extensive experience as a babysitter, nanny, and behavioral therapist. I studied Psychology and Child Development at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and am currently awaiting admission to San Diego State’s Masters in Early Childhood Mental Health program. During my time in undergrad, I nannied for two lovely children (8 and 1 y.o.) & I absolutely loved the role I played in their lives. For the past year, I’ve worked with children of all ages as an ABA therapist where I provide behavioral intervention for kiddos with Autism and other developmental disorders. In my free time, I often babysit for my Read more cousins and family friends who have kids that are 6mo-13 years old. I’m comfortable with caring for multiple kids at one time and can take on a range of responsibilities like cooking, cleaning, tutoring, providing transportation, and following strict routines. I adore children for their curious and porous nature and try my best to be a fun, reliable, and warm presence in families’ lives. I imagine it can be nerve racking to leave your child in the care of another person, so I will make a huge effort to communicate clearly and assure you feel comfortable with my caretaking style! In my free time, I enjoy yoga, camping, dog walking, and exploring the beauty of San Diego. I’m open to helping you and your family in any way that suits your needs.
