Hi! My name is Meimi (May-me) and I’m a 19 year old college student looking to help out busy parents or parents that would like some time to themselves. I’m the second eldest of four kids with two younger siblings both seven years apart, meaning I grew used to caring for young children at an early age. Beyond my own, however, I also worked with various families with up to two children. I have most experience with elementary schoolers (6, 8, 11) and a middle schooler (12), but am open to working with children regardless of age or gender. One of my strengths is my ability to connect with almost anyone, so I don’t feel confined to stick with one age group! I love children and find it easy to keep up with their ever-changing attention spans and endless energy. I understand the importance of treating them as individuals, and Read more want to ensure that their experience with being babysat is always a positive one. The caretakers in their early lives are vital to their development, so making them feel heard and comfortable is extremely important to me! Just last year, I got to watch the 5th grade graduation of a boy I used to babysit and was filled with pride that I had played a small role in helping him grow into the wonderful young person he is today! For safety, I am CPR certified and fully vaccinated, and I also prioritize maintaining the cleanliness of your home. I am currently available for most days at any time, but this may be subject to change due to employment elsewhere. I also cannot help out for longer than 6 hours as I have pets at home, but this does mean I’m familiar with working in homes with animals! I look forward to speaking with you and getting to know your children :)
