My experiences in caregiving include: CNA - I studied and worked as a nursing assistant at a nursing home for a year. Attending to residents with tender care and patience was a personal standard in service. I hope to apply the same skills and standards for children as well! Babysitting for family - Times were hard in the Philippines, so we couldn’t afford a babysitter. While parents worked, often times I had to take care of my baby cousins. The first baby I took care of was when I was about 11 years-old for my baby boy cousin. So far I’ve taken care of 3-4 other cousins from when they were babies to when they’re elementary schoolers. Cooking - A little irrelevant as a skill, but as someone with cooking experience I can take care of feeding your children or at least handle a knife to cut/prepare fruits or vegetables.
