Hello! My name is Geri and I am a part-time babysitter/nanny. I took a break from childcare but I am wanting to get back into it. I am looking into being a part-time nanny as well as an on-call babysitter for families who need it. I am currently active duty navy with a flexible schedule that I am open to discussing with families about. I am also available on weekends and overnights. I am currently located in East Village, 92101 but am willing to travel as far as San Clemente and Poway! A little bit about myself, I was born and raised in the Philippines but grew up in California for the majority of my life. I love to cook and read and be outside most of the time doing outdoor activities or even hitting the pool. I am an animal lover with three dogs and three cats. I have been working in the childcare industry for three years but taking a break since I had joined the military and was stationed overseas in Japan. My last previous experience was in 2021 with MCCS Camp Pendleton, working as a CYP Assistant at the Abby Reinke Youth and Teen Center, focusing more with the Santa Margarita Elementary School children group. The age range I had was the older kids (fourth-sixth/middle) but I've also been assigned to their kinders as well as their first thru third graders. I have also worked previously for the YMCA of San Diego County as a before and after school program assistant at Linda Vista Elementary School but then transitioning to being a spring program assistant at YMCA Camp Surf and weekend program assistant at YMCA Camp Marston. Before the YMCA, I was a BSA Merit Badge Counselor at Mataguay Scout Ranch that started my first full paid experience with the youth. I have personal character references to provide through friends and family and as well as military character references. I am more than open to having doing trial days as well.
