Hi, my name is Nikki! I am 24 years old born and raised in southern California. I received my bachelor's degree from the University of Oregon double majoring in Family and Human Services & Women's, Gender, and Sexuality with a minor in psychology. While studying, I worked for 4 teachers as a preschool teacher assistant in a 1.5-3 year old classroom. I also nannied for 3 children under 3 in high school and have extensive experience with children 0-18 in mental health, school, and summer camp settings. After graduating from my undergrad in 2020, I moved to San Diego and started nanny for a family with an 8 month-old and 2 year-old. I am still working with this family and the kids are now 18 months, 3.5, and 5. I have been working for them since so I have full time experience with a new born now as well. I Read more just started my masters program this summer at San Diego State University for Child Development with an Emphasis in Early Childhood Mental Health with LPCC. This past year I also earned a graduate certificate in Early Childhood- Transdisciplinary Education and Mental Health. Due to a new class schedule and the kids I work with starting kindergarten/preschool, I am seeking some part time nanny work, date night/occasional babysitting, and building relationships with families that has flexible schedules that can work with my class schedule changing each term. I am very caring, patient, consistent, and loyal. I use positive language and reinforcement with all children I work with.
