Hello! I’m Bri. I currently have a full time job as a Lead Certified Nurse Assistant. I have been working at my skilled nursing facility for a little over a year. Unfortunately with new management, they no longer want to accommodate my work schedule so I plan to put in my 2 weeks notice on Monday April 29th. I had to have a thorough background check done with all my fingerprints in order to work where I work. CNA training included CPR, and how to properly do the Heimlich maneuver (infants included for both). I am fully vaccinated and had the booster shot for Covid 19. Before I became a CNA I was a babysitter/nanny for families from the time I was 18 years old to now at 25. I have experience caring for people as young as 1 month old up to 96 years old at my current job. I also care for people with physical/mental disabilities. I am a professional at changing briefs aka diapers for both babies and adults and have cleaned messes most could not imagine. I also know how to empty out catheters and colostomy bags if needed. I currently am paid $24 hourly, but I am flexible with my pay so long as I can afford my rent, bills, pay for groceries, and food for my dog and my 2 birds. I also plan to save whatever money I have left to further my education and become a licensed vocational nurse. I have been told by many that I have the patience of a saint to the point where I was asked to be a lead at my place of work to help guide my fellow CNAs.
