Hi! My name is Karla Maria Gutierrez. I am 22 years old and very passionate about caretaking. I am a creative, hard-working, detail oriented person, focused on providing excellent childcare . As a big sister to 7 younger siblings, nannying is a second nature. I possess lifelong experience with how important it is to not only meet childcare needs but exceed them by fostering growth in young minds and hearts. I am equipped beyond measure to care and nurture for others with my lifelong experience and 2+ years paid experience. Outside of nannying, I am a makeup artist and a 4th year student at UC San Diego, majoring in Communication and minoring in Marketing. In my free time I have also participated in “Read Across America” at elementary schools in my hometown, where I've read to classes of children and talked with them about higher education among other things. Helping parents be there for their children is a privilege - keeping little ones excited about life and doing fun tasks such as drawing, painting, baking, reading together, etc. is just the fun part!
