Hello! My name is Shaley (Shay for short) O’Hanlon, I am 25 years old, born and raised in San Diego. I have my own car for transportation. When I attended college I would babysit but unfortunately after finishing college I could no longer babysit for families. I started working at a veterinary hospital as a register veterinary technician (RVT) making it difficult to continue sitting. After about 6 years of practicing veterinary medicine I have realized I miss caring for children and helping out parents. Growing up as a child I had a babysitter I adored. I would babysit my younger brother, work at a daycare, volunteer at an elementary school I attended when I was younger, help my mom with her class of students, and care for two children; picking them up from school, helping them walk their dog, and dropping them off at sporting events. In high school Read more I was in a child development class that I enjoyed. I am responsible, caring, and punctual. I enjoy problem solving and I have excellent communication skills. My schedule is flexible, currently working part time every other Saturday at the veterinary hospital.
