Hi, my name is Julie and first of all let me acknowledge that looking for the right person you can trust to care for your most precious loved ones on the internet can be filled with some uncertainty and make anyone a little anxious and it takes courage to do so. I want to share a little bit about me to hopefully help you feel more at ease. I have been caring for children as a childcare provider, educator and as a behavior counselor for the past 24 years. I worked with programs contracted through San Diego Unified School System, so I've been background screened and trained in many ways. I’m also a very proud aunt of 4 children ages 2-8 yrs old. I've been babysitting for families through Sittercity for 2 years and the feedback I get from parents is they've felt more comfortable leaving their children with me Read more than anyone else. I am available for daytime as well as date nights. I am kind, compassionate, trustworthy, responsible, reliable, creative and kids and parents feel safe with me. I have worked as a nanny for 3 families (ages 4 mos - 4 yrs). I was registered with 2 babysitting agencies, worked as an art educator for K-5 and as an inclusion aide and case manager for YMCA youth and family services supporting diverse families including military. I have also cared for children overnight while parents traveled out of state and internationally. I am comfortable with dogs, however, I'm allergic to cats. We hired Julie to come babysit our 3 1/2 year old and 1 year old boys while we went out for a much needed date night. Julie was very thorough in asking questions about the boys and everything before we had left. She kept us updated on how the boys were doing. She was such a sweetheart and we will most likely be using her again in the future:):)!!
