I am CPR and First Aid certified. I took a child care course in high school and learned about gross and fine motor skills and why children differ in their behavior and tendencies. It made me more effective during child care because I am more patient and know how to handle unpredictable situations. I'm not the typical babysitter who watches tv and doesn't interact with the kids. I'm more in the moment with kids and being their friend and guidance when the parents are away.
