Hi there! My name is Emily, I am a 24 year-old from southern NH and I moved to San Francisco in 2015. I love watching and playing with kids, and have been babysitting on and off since my freshman year in high school. During high school, I was a summer nanny for a family with four kids: an active, loving 8 year old boy with special needs, a curious, jubilant 4 year old girl, and twin one year old boys. It was a really fun time for me (and the kids too!), and I look back on memories from the two summers spent with them very happily! The two summers following this, I worked at a day kid's camp on lake Winnipesaukee in Northern NH, working with kids a bit older, ages 5-12. During those summers I also babysat for a family with newborn twin girls. Throughout college and into Read more this past fall, I have tutored students applying to high school and college as well as general school work and test prep. Since moving to San Francisco this past fall, I have not babysat any kids outside of my family friends three kids, but I am looking forward to it! I live on Delores Park and do not have a car but an happy to uber or lyft to you and am a confident driver if errands need to be run or kids need to be taken to activities. As far as my schooling goes, I graduated from Duke in 2014 with a degree in Neuroscience and I worked for a consulting company for a little over a year. I am taking a solid amount of time off to explore and figure out what really interests me before committing to my next job (likely not until Oct 2016). Until then, or longer, my hours are very flexible. Looking forward to hopefully hearing from you!
