I graduated from UC Davis with a degree in Human Development. I took a variety of Child Development courses and Practicums. I have worked with children ages two months to sixteen years for five years. In the past I have been a summer camp recreational leader, a behavioral therapist for children on the Autism Spectrum, and a Substitute Teacher at Bright Horizons Child Development Center. I have a passion for child development. I currently work at UCSF Medical Center as an Occupational Health Analyst, however, I truly do miss the time I've spent in child care. I grew in up in a big family with lots of strong family values and parents who always emphasized the importance of health and education. I have carried these values with me through my journey and utilize any opportunity that I have to spread them to the youth. I strongly believe that our future Read more is in the hands of our children and ensuring that our children are healthy both mentally and physically means that our future shows promise. I am very sociable, friendly and approachable. In my free time I love to attend sporting events and concerts. I volunteer my time at UCSF Children's Hospital and will be applying to pediatric nursing programs in the future.
