Hi there! I am 23 years old (almost 24) and have had experience working for 2 amazing families, as well as being the oldest of 8 kids. With two working parents growing up, I was always caring for an infant, a toddler or two, and multiple elementary-school-aged kids, all at the SAME time. This is also while balancing academics, varsity sports, and other school activities, not to mention summer camps at Notre Dame and UW-Madison for Latin and Chemistry. When I was in high school, I left for boarding school in southern MN to study BioScience at Shattuck St. Mary's where I was a part of The Spectator (the school newspaper), 5K Running Club, Spanish Club, the Soccer Center of Excellence and the BioScience COE, while maintaining a high GPA and tutoring fellow peers in the Writing Center. I went to Fordham University for my freshman year of college and Read more then transferred to St. John's University where I ran Track and Cross Country. I am currently taking time off to work with a professor on a novel I started writing a couple years ago while I save some money to finish my last year of school. I have a great work ethic, have competed in Tennis, Golf, Ice Hockey, Soccer, Track and Field and Cross Country, so I am very active, absolutely love to learn and teach, and I adore children. I worked for two years full time for a family in Chelsea with a 9-12 year old daughter (I still occasionally babysit for them when they need it, but their daughter is too old to need a babysitter full time) bringing her to school in the mornings, picking her up at 3, bringing her to all activities, staying until 9pm, spending most days assisting the mother with household chores and often spending the night. I am now working for a family on the Upper West Side with two boys (7 and 18 months) whom I've been nannying for full time for 5 months now. I am done with my day at 6pm and am looking for something I can add in to my schedule just a few nights a week and/or weekends. I love to become an asset to the family and close with both the parents and the children. I have had success with both so far, and would love to find another family I can be supportive to. I am great with cooking, cleaning, teaching, playing games and building forts with kids, and frankly enjoying their company. Children have always been an incredibly special part of my life and I'm so eager to spend as much time guiding them through life as I possibly can before I become a professional with no time to do so!
