When I was around 6, I moved in with my grandma and immediately started to take care of my newborn little cousin on a daily basis. 3 years later, his sister who has autism, came into our lives and I started taking care of her as well. I believe it was because of them that I learned to be very patient and nurturing. When I grew up to be around 13, I became youth leader in 2 different churches and my main responsibilities was the little kids. I also was one of the camp supervisors for our yearly summer vacation bible camps for about 4 years. I organized arts&crafts activities, designed outdoor games, and made lunch for around 20-30 kids everyday. I love interacting and engaging with kids, my goal is to become a pediatric nurse to help kids in the best way possible. I love the enthusiasm and optimistic Read more minds of little children and I want to encourage positivity as much as possible. I believe what makes me a good babysitter is the way I approach every single child. Every kid is different, whether it’s their preference of food or color. They’re all different so I try my hardest to not compare any kid with my last, but see what is different about them and cater to their needs. Not only can I get along with kids, I pride myself for being very attentive of things. I am responsible so if hourly check ups are needed or things need to be washed or put in the laundry, I have absolutely no problem in helping in any way I can. I work as a CNA/med tech part time and was a former basketball coach at the local YMCA and at my old high school so I have experience with all ages. I am CPR/BLS and First Aid certified; I can bring proof upon meeting.
