Hello! My name is Angela Ramirez, and I was born and raised in beautiful San Francisco. I've been occasionally babysitting since I was 17 years old and loved every moment of it. The youngest child I've taken care of was a friend's relative who at the time was only 11 months old. I witnessed him taking his first steps at the park where I would frequently take him. Till this day, that memory fills me with so much joy. I took care of him up until he was 3 years old, when his family decided to move to Europe. Although it broke my heart that I wouldn't see him again, I was happy for their new life journey. The best part of all is that he learned a little bit of Spanish because of me. The oldest kids I still babysit from time to time are my niece and nephew. Read more My niece is 9 years old and my nephew just turned 11, but I've been babysitting them since they were in diapers. I make sure they do their homework, eat their vegetables and maintain a consistent bedtime. Following their mother's rules, they are not allowed any screen time past a certain hour, but I make sure to keep them occupied with fun activities such as yoga, puzzles or reading. I've picked them up from school and dropped them off to soccer practice. Made sure they do their school assignments and cooked dinner for them. With my help, they've both achieved good grades and high scores on standardized tests. They enjoy spending time with me, just as I do with them. Watching them grow is bittersweet because I know there will come a time when they will no longer care to spend time with me. However, I will cherish and never take for granted every moment with them. With years of experience, I am now skilled in creating fun, engaging and educational activities, while demonstrating a priority for children's safety and well-being. Trusted by parents, with mutual love and affection for all of the cared-for children. I am skilled in bathing, diaper changing, potty training, brushing teeth, obtained driver's license, and CPR, as well as assisting with school assignments. Helped clean and organized house whenever necessary, minimizing parent's clean up times upon their return home. Prepared lunches and snacks, paying extra attention to the nutritional values in food.
