Hello, my name is Anne! I am pursuing my AA degrees in philosophy as well as child development, which I will receive at the end of the 2021-22 school year. For work, I am a program lead at a childcare program where I facilitate a variety of activities from creative arts to academics. I currently work with children aged 6 to 8, but have had experience with children aged 9-12. What I love about working with children is being able to grow with them. I learn a lot from the kids I have worked with, and it has taught me a lot about myself! Lessons of patience and compassion were some things I have learned from them, and I find working with children very rewarding. There is nothing more satisfying about my day than knowing I have created a safe, caring atmosphere for my kids to grow in. Some things about me are that I love creating arts of all kind, cooking is a big passion of mine, and I am the biggest cat lover there is. I like to find new ways of expressing myself through art whether it is jewelry making or painting. I love finding new ways for children to get engaged in academics such as connecting their favorite video game (Among Us is a popular) to mathematics and literature.
