Greetings families! I am a very dedicated mother to three beautiful girls ages 2, 6 and 12 in the San Francisco area. I have been a Pre-K teacher's assistant for over 12 years and by the end of spring 2023, I will have obtained my AA for lead teacher. I have also been been a paraprofessional where I specifically worked with preschoolers with special needs who needed assistance integrating into the classrooms. I genuinely love children and their drive to figure out life, their need for safety and of course their honesty! As covid ran rapid throughout all of our lives, I decided my purpose was still to work with children, but I wanted to do something a little different. In the course of two years, I became certified as a Birth Worker also known as a Doula. I am a certified lactation educator, and peer support counselor with a Read more specialization in maternal mental health. I aspire to become a Midwife and IBCLC in the near future so that I may open up my own practice and non profits for the underprivileged women in my community. I have been working extremely hard on making my dreams a reality, but ultimately, I do have children to take care of and figured this would work around my flexible schedule. I'm hoping to connect with families to make ends meet doing something I love while continuing to achieve my goals. Honest, trustworthy, understanding, communicative, critical thinker, funny, kind and direct are some of the words my friends use to describe me. I believe in mutual respect and doing things from the heart without any intentions attached.
