Hi, my name is Alexis! Originally from Virginia, I have lived in San Francisco for the last 14 years of my life. My passions include skiing, martial arts, wake surfing, painting, spending time with family, and most likely other things that I can’t think of at the moment. When I was younger, there were a couple of babysitters, who truly made a positive impact on my life and inspired me to do the same for others. I have spent much of my life both paid in unpaid caring for children, and have now spent years as a summer and winter camp counselor at a martial arts camp. Being a part of that community has allowed me to lean into my love for teaching and while I am currently attending San Francisco State University for political science. I plan on teaching and working with kids throughout my life.
