As a motivated, encouraging, and optimistic person I hope to bring my enthusiasm to my work environments. Being outgoing I love to converse with those around me, always intrigued by other peoples cultures and experiences different than mine. Being raised in many cities around the Bay Area, and attending schools in the city of San Francisco has exposed me to many perspectives of living. Most of my experiences include working with children from the ages six and up for the past three years under a non profit organization named Today Youth Matters (TYM). Through my work and volunteering within the group I have gained leadership and communication skills to not just kids but their guardians as well. I attended high school in the sunset district of Sf and had gained leadership skills as my dance teams captain. Receiving that role has built me the foundation of organization, leadership, and understanding Read more mental health for myself and my teammate's. My creativity through my hobbies of dance and art provides me with the passion of expression that I hope to contribute to youth. I am in San Francisco for the summer but will return to college in August to continue studying to earn a BA in Psychology & Childhood Development in hopes of professionally working with youth in my future careers. I will be returning home to SF every break & holiday as well.
