I have always been curious on how children develop and the importance of creating a safe and healthy environment for them in order to grow up with a positive attitude. Studying psychology has helped me learn and understand how the brain of a child works. My experience with children comes from taking care of my younger brother. Even though I was still young, my mother trusted me enough to keep an eye on him when she needed to go to work. I would pick him up from school, take him to the park and make sure he ate a proper meal. By taking care of my younger brother, I learned how to be responsible, flexible, have emotional intelligence and be patient. I enjoy working with kids and I see myself having a career in psychology that focuses on helping children in the future.
