I'm in my mid-20's and recently got laid off from my biotech job. I'm looking forward to spending the next few months taking a little time off to pursue my hobbies, such as reading, pottery, and working with children! I've always loved children and, in high school, I became the designated babysitter for my neighborhood. I worked with many children from ages 1-10. In college, I would came home for two summers to full time babysit a family of three children. One of my favorite parts about babysitting was coming up with new creative games to explore the outdoors or keep kids off their screens and socially engaged. I grew up with a full-time nanny so I understand how important it is to have responsible, caring help, and I'm looking forward to providing that for the families I work for.
