I have always been really gifted when it comes to working with kids. I started babysitting at ten years old, and evolved into a specialized nanny for kids with behaviorism issues, then a preschool educator, and mothers helper. I really enjoy creating community and being a part of a village when it comes to raising kids. It’s essential to be a trusted adult in vibrant transient cities to families that may not have a lot of family support near by. I have years of experience, and still really enjoy working with youth. *I DO NOT DO SPLIT SHIFTS*

Amaker has been wonderful with our family. Our son was immediately comfortable with her, which meant so much to us, and she has been incredibly engaged and attentive with him from the start. She plays with him, interacts with him thoughtfully, and genuinely seems to enjoy spending time with him. She has also gone above and beyond what we originally asked of her. She’s constantly finding ways to help around the apartment and has made a real difference in helping us keep things sane and running smoothly. She is dependable, proactive, kind, and such a helpful presence in our home. We’ve been very grateful to have her!

Amaker has been an exceptional nanny and mother’s helper for our family, and we recommend her wholeheartedly. From the very beginning, she has cared for our toddler with so much warmth, patience, and intention. She has done an incredible job reinforcing good manners and helping our daughter build positive habits, while always following our lead on parenting decisions. She was a wonderful partner during potty training, providing consistent support and encouragement in a way that made the process much smoother for everyone. One of the things we appreciate most is how proactive she is about creating enriching experiences. She regularly takes our daughter on fun outings and excursions, and she has helped cultivate a genuine love of reading by making library visits a regular part of their routine. It’s clear that she thinks beyond supervising a child; she is always looking for opportunities to help our daughter learn, grow, and explore the world. Amaker is also incredibly thoughtful and considerate toward our entire family. One gesture that perfectly captures who she is was when she bought my mom a portable stool so she could comfortably join them at the park. It was completely unexpected and such a kind, generous act that meant a great deal to us. Beyond being an outstanding caregiver, Amaker is simply a wonderful person. She is dependable, communicative, caring, and deeply invested in the well-being of the families she works with. We feel incredibly fortunate to have had her in our lives, and we recommend her without hesitation to any family looking for someone who will care for their children with love, dedication, and thoughtfulness.
