I am currently enrolled at SJSU. I will be graduating in the spring. I love children! I'm very responsible, especially when it comes to children. I grew up taking care and watching after my little cousins at family gatherings. I currently live with two of my nephews, ages 5 and 2. During my senior year in high school, I was in the child development lab in which I watched over children from 1-5 years old. I'm typically up to anything when it comes to looking after children. The children and I can play games, go for walks, play sports, outdoor activities, arts and crafts, work on projects and homework, and so forth. I also have some experience working with children with disabilities as I was a counselor for Via West Services. I've also worked at a bounce house in which I hosted children birthday parties, along with other duties. I've Read more also volunteered to be a Walden West Camp leader two times for a week each time. Every so often, I visit my old 5th grade teacher and work with the children or just observe.
