Dear parents, I've been working as a nanny/family assistant/mother's helper for over twenty years. Also, I've been a nursery teacher for many churches in the bay area for many years and I've raised my own two grown children. I have taken care of children from newborn to teens (singles/twins, multiples and special needs). I am available to babysit on the weekends, either in the morning or evening, for date nights. I am mature, educated/artistic, fun, friendly, energetic, safe, patient, reliable and punctual. I have background checks, fingerprinted, negative TB test (current), TDAP test (wooping cough, current), flu shot (current), CPR/First Aid, and nanny certification, US citizen, clean driving record and I drive an insured vehicle with clean driving record. I love children and treat them all with love and respect. I am very kid friendly; even young children that have separation anxiety or if they don't warm up to others Read more easily, they open up to me, right away.  Children always tell me "YOU ARE THE BEST NANNYBABYSITTER WE'VE EVER HAD". As a nanny, I will provide excellent care for your children; treat them with outmost love and respect; plan fun and stimulating/educational indoor and outdoor activities to help them grow mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically. I will teach/reinforce manners, set boundaries, encourage good behavior and teach children to be responsible, using your guidelines and house rules. Through art, I can teach them to be creative thinkers, and let their imagination take them where ever they like to go in life. As a family assistant, I can take care of all your household needs (laundry, dishes, organization ...), cooking and running errands. Thank you for your time and consideration in advance. I look forward to hearing from you soon. I can be reached by email, phone or text. Kind regards, Mary 408-421-7165 mary.sumner@sbcglobal.net

I am so happy to have found Mary on sittercity! She was highly recommended by her current employer for whom she nanny's full time. Mary watched our 10 month old boy and as soon as she arrived he was comfortable with her and went straight to her arms. Mary spent all day with our baby and followed our routine as requested. She took him for a walk and sent some sweet photos of their time together. When we came home our baby was very calm and happy. Thank you Mary!
