Hello! My name is Jessica and I consider myself creative, kind, positive, and outgoing! I love picking up hobbies such as juggling and Legos and working with kids. I graduated from UC Berkeley in 2020 with a bachelor's degree in American Studies, specializing in education, psychology, and American history. During my time at Berkeley, I worked with a non-profit for 4 years to provide SAT prep and lessons on social and emotional learning to disadvantaged students of color in the Bay Area. In 2021, I graduate from Stanford University with a master's in Education, specializing in Secondary Mathematics. During my time there, I was a student teacher at a middle school in SFUSD. Last year, I was a 7th/8th Grade Math Teacher for a local charter school in San Jose. Unfortunately, I was laid off due recently due to budget cuts. I love love pets! I currently have 2 guinea Read more pigs, 2 rabbits, a hamster, a cat, and a lot of aquatic creatures such as fish, shrimp, and snails. I have taken care of pets that belong to friends ad family.
