We hired Michelle for a nanny share for 2 boys starting when they were 3 and 9 months old respectively. She worked with us for 6 months. She was always early, which I really appreciated, and exceptionally warm and loving with our sons. She was flexible with our schedule as needed (came early, stay late, stayed overnight) which was super helpful to us. She helped with chores around the house, as well as took the initiative to do things like empty the dishwasher without being asked. She even baked us banana bread regularly when the boys were napping and it was delicious! I trust her wholeheartedly with our son - he adores her. She takes them for walks and to the park and is great about working to get the boys on a schedule. She had great communication skills and I appreciated the updates during the day about our little guy (pix, videos). The share ended for reasons outside her control, and we wanted to keep her for just our son but our salary was not competitive with the share care salary she could make. We are so sad to see her go and look forward to hiring her for date nights and weekends when possible.

I've been thinking for a while if I should write this or not, I'm not a huge write bad reviews kind of girl, but Michelle really left me and my family in a horrible situation. I had hired Michelle, after meeting several other wonderful nannies to be an early morning nanny for my 2 year old. We met and decided that she would be a great fit for my daughter and set up her first day about a month in advance of the start date. The night before the first day I texted just to make sure that she would be there and she said yes. Unfortunately she never showed the next morning, I texted and called and nothing. I had to fire her over the phone. I decided that I would not write a bad review if she called and explained the situation, maybe it was an emergency something happened, but I have heard nothing. We had already let go of our previous nanny and had no one to care for out daughter and are now in crisis mode to try and find someone last minute. I was just blown away at the unprofessionalism and general inconsideration of what she did. She has a child so understands the trust that is given to people who care for your child.
