Hello, thank you for taking the time out to read a little bit about myself. My name is Usha Junday and I am currently searching for part-time work as a babysitter in the East Bay Area. I am also willing to help out in the kitchen if need be. I have been a babysitter for children of various ages for about 12 years now. My first babysitting experience was at a daycare called Khalida Daycare in South San Francisco, where I took care of babies, toddlers, and school age children between the ages of 6 months- 10 years of age. Some of my duties were: feeding the kids, change diapers, clean after them, play with them, read with them, put them to sleep, etc. Simultaneously, I also worked at Buri Buri Elementary School (2003-2008) as a noon supervisor for the children there. My duties at this job were: supervising the Read more children during recess and lunch time, making sure they are playing safely, and guiding them to and from their classes. After this initial job, I worked as a part time babysitter for two boys 5 & 8 years old, for about 8 years. At this job, my daily duties were: supervise the boys, play with them, and do household chores. Along with these more permanent jobs I also did spontaneous babysitting and cooking jobs for other families. Overall I enjoy this work because I love interacting with children of all ages, and by being a grandmother of eight lovely grandkids, I feel I have acquired the patient, observant, and caring personality that is required of a qualified babysitter. When I am not working as a babysitter, I enjoy spending time with my family, sewing/knitting, cooking, gardening, and reading up on histories of the world. I would love to be able to help out your family with your childcare needs, if given the chance. Thank you very much and I hope to speak with you soon! -Usha J.
