In addition to majoring in Child Development at college, I have a passion for working with kids beyond the books. I have always LOVED being around children since I was young. I began babysitting at 12, and have babysat for dozens of families both short and long term. I was a camp counselor for 11 weeks this past summer. From entertaining, managing meals, bed-times, discipline, health, and personal growth, I had the opportunity to be fully immersed in daily life (as daily life as camp can be) with children of all ages! I also have lots of experience working with young babies/ toddlers. I love to have FUN with the kids and strive to go a step beyond the average "sitter." I find myself quick to relate and get to know kids with ALL types of personalities. A loved child is a cherished child :)
