Hello! My name is Ellie. I’m a young professional who’s new to the Bay Area. I have years of babysitting and nannying experience, and have worked professionally supporting children with behavioral health needs and special needs. I am looking for part time/temporary child care roles while I job search. I have experience caring for multiple children from age newborn - 14 y/o. Happy to provide multiple references and answer any questions! More about me: I have a MSW from Boston University and a BS from University of Kansas. In both of these programs I focused on child and young adult development and care, and worked with families part time in nannying, babysitting, and parents’ helper roles. My favorite thing about working with kids is watching them explore and learn! I strongly believe in gentle caregiving and am skilled in supporting children while they learn to regulate their emotions and navigate Read more the world. I have professional experience in autism care and school social work, and I now work in clinical research. I just moved to the Bay Area and am excited at the opportunity to support families here!
