Growing up I always felt comfortable around children - I adored them. Being the youngest of five, I dreamed of the times when I could be an aunt. To my surprise, I became a big sister to a little princess at the age of 15. Since her birth, I have helped raise my little sister to become the bright little girl she is. I am accustomed to 12 hour days being the care giver for my sister for doing things ranging from arts and crafts to cooking her meals and taking her to appointments. In addition to taking care of my sister, I began working for several families as a part time sitter about four years ago. For the past four years I have had the pleasure of working with four families. The families all have two children, under the age of four. The past summer I worked with kids age 3-14 as a camp counselor at a local gymnastic place in which I have experience working with a variety of different scenarios and tasks. I have a great relationship with past employers, but due to moving away for college, I haven't been able to work consistently with them.
