Meet Magdalena
My name is Magdalena Tripoli, and I am currently a freshman at UC Santa Barbara. I have various prior experiences working with children in many aspects, including teaching and supervising young children, to childcare for individual families. I have a great passion for children and honestly miss my work with children now that I am in college. I have worked as a swim instructor for three years (ages 9 months- 16 years old), so I am a lifeguard and cpr certified (pediatric and adult). I have been babysitting for at least 5 years, but as of last year, I had about three families I consistently babysat for, which included taking public transportation together to school & activities, cooking meals, cleaning ect. I have experience working with children on the spectrum. I have worked at an after-school program, as well as a daycare (ages 2-5), where I led activities, reinforced positive Read more behavior, and changed diapers. All of these opportunities have helped shape my love for children as well as my ability to be the best person I can for young children to look up to and come to for help, reassurance, nurturing, and fun. These experiences have strengthened my ability to create a positive, structured, and supportive environment for young children.
