Hello, my name is Seanna, I attend college and working towards an allied health degree with plans to continue onto nursing. Currently, I am a registered EMT (Emergency Medical Technician). I love to play with kids in a fun and learning environment, reading, drama, arts and crafts, days at the park, the beach, museums or anything that is engaging and promotes education through interest, exposure and experiences. I have watched a range of children from 4 months-15 years old; girls and boys, with high energy, and require special attention. I have worked as a full-time nanny for 3 years and on and off as a babysitter for 10 + years, as well as assistance with seniors such as laundry, errands, driving to and attending doctors appointments, cleaning, cooking, small house hold repairs and maintenance. I follow a gluten free diet for my own health needs but can prepare and cook Read more food that your family prefers with or without gluten. I know how to adhere to strict dietary needs such as vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free, nut free, free of nightshades if your family or child needs. I live a healthy and active lifestyle which is easy and fun to do in Santa Cruz. I am willing to help with other household chores that will help the children and family run smoothly, grocery shopping, laundry, keeping play areas tidy, homework and other tasks. In my spare time, I ride horses, surf, hike, and volunteer at a riding center that specializes in horse assisted therapy for individuals with physical, mental and emotional disabilities. I took some time off from childcare for school and working with animals on a ranch and as a veterinary technician. So very comfortable with all animals (except handling snakes). Now returning to childcare because it is rewarding and fun. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. I look forward to speaking with you. Have a nice day.
