Hello! Children are my passion! I'm a life experienced homeschool mother and grandmother, who has been working with children for several years. I have experience as a Private Household Nanny, in which I was responsible for caring for the emotional, mental, and physical needs of a young child, house responsibilities such as laundry and cleaning, preparing meals, helping with school work, and driving to and from extra-curricular activities. I have experience as Preschool Teacher's Aid in a Day Care/Preschool setting for small children, responsible for aiding in the classroom preschool learning, preparing meals, caring for infants, and communication with other employees and parents. I have temporary Foster Parent experience of two older children who lived in my home and extensive background checks. I am current CPR/ First Aid Adult and Child Certified, Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Training Course and Certification, Civil Rights Training for Child Nutrition Programs Certified, and several Read more Department of Family Services Health and Safety Courses. I have an AA in Nutrition. I have had several Fitness Certifications throughout the years, as keeping strong and healthy is a priority for me. I obtained Parent Volunteer of the Year Award for active homeschool participation during years raising my daughters. I am presently applying for my Global Nanny Training Certification. Children are the next generation leaders, and their caregivers are of the utmost importance. Caregivers must set standards of integrity and honesty, safety practices, and wise instruction with an attitude of love and fun. Caregivers should be a positive yet strong voice in a child's life, guiding them according to the parent's boundaries. Caregivers must have transparent conversations with parents at all times and follow instructions given for the benefit of the child. Caregiving is a wonderful opportunity to pour love, comfort, stability, and positivity into a child's life; being that second helping hand for busy parents. Because I am a parent and grandmother myself, I understand the unique individual challenges that come with caregiving children, and I am equipped with knowledge and experience to bring comfort to the parent who needs to trust that their child is being well cared for.
