My name is Fran, and thank you for reading about my qualifications. If I may boast for a moment, my best job ever has been as the mom of one child, my son, who is a freshman this year at the University of Arizona. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Hudson High School, in Hudson, Ohio, which is from where I have moved. He was accepted to the honor's college at the U of A and I could not be prouder. He is a very nice young man as well. Which to me is more important than all the A's in the world. I have been a sitter on and off over the years. I have done after school care for families (children ages 8 and 11) and most recently was "Franny the Nanny" for 2 teenagers, ages 13 and almost 16. I have cared for toddlers and pre-schoolers. I Read more have a BA from the University of Illinois, in French Language and Civilization. As part of my education, I studied at the Sorbonne in Paris as a senior in college. My French is close to native speaking but might be a little rusty. Other interests include sports (baseball, football, soccer, golf, volleyball, tennis, swimming, equestrian and more); music (I play piano and sing); travel, fitness, reading, movies, art...I guess you could say I'm well-rounded. My deficit would be in crafts. Although I can color with crayons. I believe in children owning their actions. The world does not revolve around them, and they need to be taught to be civil, polite, kind and aware of their actions. I am more of a "suggest another choice" style of discipline as opposed to "telling them what they should NOT do". I also incorporate "love and logic" parenting tools. My sense of humor is also a plus. If you would like to know any more about me or my "caregiving style" please ask. My driving record is clean...I have a 2013 GMC Terrain...I do not smoke or do drugs...I will need to recertify in First Aid and CPR..I do believe in equality for all, regardless of sexual orientation, skin color, ethnicity, income, or religion. I live by the "Golden Rule". A potential conflict in my timeline is that I will be unavailable from November 25-December 3. This is what I am about...in a few paragraphs. Looking forward to meeting you and your family. Fran
