Hi! Originally from Madrid, I moved here from London recently and I live in Santa Monica with my husband. I am now a member of the INA and currently in the process of becoming a Newborn specialist, as well as a certification in Sleep and potty training and in Positive Discipline. My experience with children is varied, having started by caring for a younger sister with sever disabilities and then being an au par during my gap year. After finishing my studies, I started working as a trader (finance). Even though it's a work environment were you have to successfully endure high levels of pressure on a constant basis, working with children it's a shorter learning curve! Long term, I got extremely involved in a project with my synagogue, where I worked with refugee children, leading that area of the project. I have a deep understanding of the level of Read more safety children require, both physical and especially emotional. I speak 5 languages. Its so much fun to teach kids a few words in french, italian, spanish... Nurturing their curiosity and their thirst for knowledge is something I take great pride in. Being a capable cook (my dishes are mostly european) and one of my favourite activities with them is cooking, teaching them about fresh fruits and vegetables and healthy eating. Im not a big fan of television and I would always prefer to give preference to playing and learning through games. Driver's license and new, safe car. There are many ways in which to educate a child. The best of which is the way the parents have chosen. I am very, very respectful of that. I look forward to helping you with your childcare.

I had the pleasure of meeting Lorelai a few months back when I was in need of a sitter. She was pleasant in all ways and my little one connected with her immediately. I do intend on calling on Lorelai in the near future. She is an absolute gem! Thank you!

I needed a sitter for my 3 year old with very short notice and Lorelai stepped up. She was very punctual and very willing to go out of her way to accommodate us. I simply loved her and I was impressed with my son quickly adjusting to her since he has never had a sitter before. She was lovely and great to talk to and my husband and I feel very lucky to have found her. We're definitely going to call her again!

I called Lorelai when I needed a last-minute sitter for my 7 year old son. She was gracious and accommodating, and my son loved her. She was very dynamic and engaging for him (and me too, for that matter) and I felt very comfortable leaving him with her. And she even surprised me by cleaning up my kitchen!
