Hi! I’m Allison. I am a native New Yorker who has been living in LA since 2017. I currently live in Santa Monica. While living in New York and in London, I babysat for several families between the ages of 5mo and 7. Most of the kids I sat for were 2ys old. I have such a way with kids, that I started babysitting sort of accidentally. While waitressing, I engaged with the kids and made sure they were taken care of to take some stress off the family at the restaurant and I guess the parents liked me and saw how well I did with their kids, that I was asked if I wanted to babysit. I met several families this way. One family didn’t even live in NY, they were just visiting and felt comfortable enough with me to have me watch their child at their hotel. I Read more have two nieces I am in love with (ages 2 + 4) who live on the East Coast. Whenever I visit my family I make a point to have as much time with them as I can. For the holidays, I always come up with a craft idea. I love making memories with them and watching them be creative. While in between jobs, I thought I would see if there was any sitting I could do in the neighborhood. I especially enjoy working with young children/babies and arrangements where I can support the parents by running errands for them etc. I am actively seeking personal assistant work, so I embrace supporting the parents where I can. Between working as a sitter, being an aunt, working at a children’s party place in college, doing children’s theater and birthday parties, I have plenty of experience. I also have a pup so I am comfortable around animals. I look forward to meeting you and providing peace of mind for you and your family! I know leaving your child can be stressful, and my goal is to make that part a little easier for you.
