My name is Jennifer. I have spent my whole life working with children and people with disabilities. My first job was in a preschool and I was hooked! Kids became my life. I have worked in preschools, an infant care center, elementary schools, before and after school care, in private homes, in a large institution for kids and adults with disabilities, as an itinerant teacher of the deaf (elementary and middle school), interpreted and tutored deaf students and managed an employment service for people with disabilities. During this time I earned an early childhood education certificate and a bachelors degree in elementary education then later an interpreters degree. I then became a mother of a daughter and 2 years later I had boy/girl twins. I stayed home to raise my kids for approximately 15 years. Jennifer looked after our 3month old and 2 year old boys twice while we were visiting Napa for a wedding. Jennifer was brilliant with the kids, my 2yo took to her immediately (no doubt aided by the fun toys Jennifer brought with her!) and she managed to keep them entertained all afternoon, feed them both dinner and get them into bed with no issues. She sent us pictures while we were out of them having a great time which made us more relaxed an able to enjoy the wedding. Would recommend Jennifer to anyone with little kids, she is very calm, patient, asked all the right questions so she was prepared. The next morning our kiddos woke up well rested and happy - thank you Jennifer!
