Hi families! I bring a unique blend of experience as a school counselor, certified teacher, and dedicated nanny. With over 30 years working with children from early childhood through adolescence, I have a deep understanding of both their developmental needs and emotional well-being. As a school counselor, I specialize in creating safe, nurturing environments where children feel heard, supported, and confident. My teaching background means I'm great at planning engaging, educational activities tailored to each child’s age and interests—whether it’s reading, crafts, or outdoor play. I've also worked as a full-time and part-time nanny, so I'm very familiar with the day-to-day needs of busy families. I’m patient, energetic, and reliable—and I treat every child with the same level of care and respect I would want for my own. I’m CPR/First Aid certified and comfortable with routines, homework help, meal prep, and behavior guidance. I’d love to support your family in a way that works best for you—whether you need occasional care, after-school help, or a consistent, trustworthy sitter. Let’s connect!

I am a mom of two boys. Since I was 12 years old, I have been babysitting. I was a nanny for two families and simply put, I really love children. I have amazing references and would love the opportunity to help care for a young child between the ages of infancy and 5 years old. I was a working parent when my children were young so I can empathize with both working parents and children. I am joyful, patient, loving and kind. I will make your child a priority and engage him/her in fun activities such as reading, being outside, and experimenting in the kitchen. I am CPR/FIRST Aid certified.

Kelly was phenomenal and a total pro in aspects of our daughter's care. She worked with us while we were in town from NY for a wedding, taking care of our (jet-lagged!) 10-month old daughter with ease. She was incredibly kind, loving, and attentive and bonded with our daughter immediately. Kelly also managed the impossible for us, which was to get our daughter to bed without us present - a first. We sincerely wished we lived in the area because if we did we would book Kelly again in a heartbeat. She's magic.

Fiona has been watching my four-year old for a few months now and fit right in from the start. She is responsible, punctual, accountable and a pleasure to be around. Fiona actively plays while maintaining appropriate boundaries, and engaging with my child. She is accommodating to our family's style and values, and we hope to work with her for years to come.

I have babysat for many families over the years - for kids of all ages. I absolutely adore taking care of kids and being able to provide them with a nurturing, interactive, safe yet fun environment. My experience ranges from caring for infants and youths to caring for autistic children to caring for multiple kids at once - like a family with a 4, 3, 2 and 1-year-old, for example. I first became a nanny while studying at UCLA back in 2012 and helped raise a wonderful two-year-old girl in Bel Air. For the next three and half years, I helped raise her - 5 days a week. Every single day we engaged in interactive and imaginative play, explored outside and worked on growing her overall knowledge of the world. I also worked at introducing various basic concepts like kindness, respect and original thinking. For me, every moment with a child is an opportunity to help expand their minds and grow as an individual. Post-UCLA and after another year of nannying, I left California to serve in the Peace Corps as an Education Volunteer in Burkina Faso, West Africa where I taught preschool in a rural village to over sixty-six children. After returning from the Peace Corps, I found myself back in LA where I started to teach again at a private preschool in West LA. It was a wonderful opportunity where I could design creative, engaging and play-based lessons for my young students. I worked there for about two years until I started grad school to study ethnobotany right before the pandemic hit. For the past nine years, I've been living down in SoCal and my most recent recurring caretaking role was last year as a part-time nanny for a sweet one-year-old girl (I was also working at a holistic wellness studio at the time) and I took care of her three days a week. In addition to making sure she was well-taken care, I helped out with housework such as cooking, cleaning/tidying, organizing, laundry and more. I'm more than happy to do anything needed to make life easier for a family since I understand how hard it can be to balance everything. To my sadness, they moved to Greece last June to be with family which actually worked out because my own family needed help on our farm in the Central Valley so I moved up north for the time being. While I do not have any of my own children yet, I absolutely love spending time with kids and truly enjoy encouraging them to embrace life to the fullest. To make a child smile and feel valued is one of my greatest joys in life.

I am a 25 year-old college graduate, and was born and raised in the D.C. area. I have just returned home from the SF Bay Area after 3 years before leaving to do some international travel in the spring of 2023. I nannied 2 wonderful preschool and elementary aged children full-time at home during the 2020/2021 school year, and I have several years of experience babysitting for a network of families in the D.C. area since I was a high school student. I am available for nannying and recurring babysitting from December 1st, 2022 to February 15th, 2023. I am both First Aid and CPR certified through the Red Cross. I am fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19. I am happy to provide references if you would like to learn more about the high-quality, fun and engaging care I provide. In my free time, I love to spend time outside hiking, baking, reading and (re)exploring D.C's many museums! Most of my experience is with infants and children up to 7 years old. I am also an experienced pet and house sitter if you might need help with your fur babies too! I am excited to meet you and your family, and to be a positive role model in your children's lives!

Hi there! My name is Khen. I first began working with children when I was 16 years old. I was a nanny for many families in my community in Southern California. I was a preschool teacher for nearly ten years. I moved to Northern California 5 years ago when I got my first teaching job. I have taught first, second, and third grades over the past five years. I'm happy to help your children with homework and have plenty of experience with one on one tutoring. I love to spend time outdoors and would be happy to take your children outside to get those wiggles out. I'm to fill my schedule this summer, since it is my first summer not teaching summer school! I would love to meet with you and share more about my many experiences working with children (and pets too!). I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Khen was wonderful watching our toddlers on two separate occasions. She is an excellent communicator, punctual, and most importantly did an amazing job bonding with our little ones, despite their separation anxiety. We look forward to working with her again the next time we are in the area!

I am a warm, thoughtful, life-long educator with an extensive background in raising children. I love to sing, play, cook, and travel. Kids of all ages fill my days with joy, energy, curiosity, honesty, and creative problem solving. Through caring for children I have learned that we all need the same things- to be heard, to be seen, to be valued, and to be loved. There is nothing more rewarding than being able to practice patience and kindness when it is needed the most. And it is so fun to teach kids new things and see the joy of discovery light up their face. My own two wonderful sons have just graduated from college and I am ready to help another family thrive. I am background checked, cpr certified and a very safe driver.

Hello beautiful people of Sonoma county! I am a nanny at heart but I also love to do short term babysitting jobs as well. I am an extremely fun , responsible, reliable and I love working with kids ! I have always love to work with children since I was a child myself. I would post around neighborhoods with a piece of paper at 14 and eventually became my neighborhoods nanny! They were small and short times shifts, mostly dinner dates , covering parents appointments. Once I turned 16, I would work higher paying and longer jobs. From there I knew that I wanted to work with kids for the rest of my life! I am majoring in child development and will also apply for a teaching degree to be a kindergarten teacher! I currently am a full time manger at a pet store but I am looking for short time jobs to save money to see my grandmother in Hawaii! If your kiddo is with me for a short amount of time or even longer, I will make the day or days the happiest! I love to play board games, color, paint and also explore nature.
