Hi my name is Jelena I’m an 18 year old preparing to begin esthetics school this spring, excited to step into a field that combines creativity, confidence building, and care. Before pursuing esthetics, I worked at an after school program called Coral through Catholic Charities, where I supported kindergarteners as well as fourth and fifth graders. Helping with homework, activities, and daily routines gave me the chance to positively influence their growth and understand the importance of patience, responsibility, and compassion. My passion for working with kids began in high school, when I volunteered at ICBAB with my close friends. There, I helped children participate in activities that taught them more about their faith and culture, further strengthening my love for mentorship and community. Growing up with a mother who is a teacher, I’ve always been inspired to make a meaningful impact on young lives.
