Prior to being a mom I loved working at a Child Care center called Sunshine for 6 years and then I worked at a local private school called Legacy Private Academy as a 2nd and 4th grade Assistant Teacher. At both Legacy and Sunshine I learned to get down on a child’s level, using positive reinforcement to mold and shape kids with love and positivity. I am careful to give clear expectations and to anticipate potential behavioral issues and catch them before they start. (An example of this would be giving a five minute warning if our play is coming to an end, to avoid a transition meltdown, when playing playdoh setting expectations before playing as far and how to use the playdoh appropriately etc. I love kids and enjoy playing with them and learning together. I l appreciate going to the park and helping children with their homework, and reading books or playing games. My kids are getting older and I now have time to work again. You name it I have done it all from rocking colicky babies, potty training , to teaching four kids their alphabet, sight words and how to read. Hi, I am Gennesis, I am a 26-year-old college grad Most recently I worked at an early learning center at a hospital for staff members. I was able to further my experience with toddlers and infants of all personalities and needs. I served as one of the teacher's assistants to the lead teacher. My role gave me the opportunity to be very hands on and engage with the kiddos. I loved my time at the daycare but I had to relocate to CA from WA. Hello there, I'm 33 years old. I have 21 Early Childhood Education units. I live in the Santa Clarita Valley and the would prefer stay within the SCV. My rate varies depending on the number of children. My preferred days (time frame) are Tuesday 10 am - 6pm, Wednesday 10am - 6pm and Friday 10am - 6pm. I am not available Thursdays and Sundays.

Growing up in a big family I was always around children! In addition to having a lot of younger cousins my parents had decided to have my two younger sisters. There is a 15 and 17 year age gap between me and them. As an older sister I was always willing to watch my siblings when my parents could not. A few years ago I also had the pleasure of nannying a family that has 5 children ranging from then 13 to as young as a 2 year old. I was caring for a 1 1/2 year old boy but I’m now currently caring for a 6 month old. I do really enjoy taking care of these kids! Everyday is different and it is so amazing to see the world through their eyes.
