I’ve been taking care of kids pretty much my whole life newborns all the way up to preteens, thanks to growing up in a big family with siblings, cousins, and nieces. Because of that, I’m used to jumping into whatever a kid needs: feeding, diaper changes, bedtime routines, homework help, and keeping them entertained without just sticking them in front of a screen. I also handle the behind the scenes stuff that makes a home run smoothly cleaning up after meals, organizing play areas, doing dishes, folding kid laundry, and keeping things calm and structured. I am a current UF grad student getting my masters in marriage and family therapy. I received a BA in psychology. I spent numerous hours in high school caring for foster children. During 2025, I worked as a substitute teacher and worked with the following grades: kindergarten, 1st, 3rd-5th, and 7th-8th. I spent time volunteering in a second grade classroom for two years prior to obtaining my subbing permit. The most fulfilling for me was when I babysat foster children and it would be beneficial for me to go back to what I feel I do best, caring for others. The reason I have zero years paid experience is because I often offered services for free. I have been paid at times, but I was typically doing so to help out. It was valuable experience nonetheless.
