I went to school for child development to be able to have my own in home daycare (soon). I do currently work part time at an in home daycare called “Creative Learning” and gosh, do I love it! The kids make your days 10 times better. It’s always something new with them. Watching them grown and seeing how their little personalities expand. Not only that, I get to take my own baby and watch him while he’s with me at work, so that’s even better! But besides working with kids, I do enjoy cleaning. My first paid babysitting job started when I was 11 years old, and I started caring for my 5 week old cousin in my aunt’s workplace with her. As the baby became more mobile, I began caring for her in the home while my aunt worked, and at 12, I was working as an after-school babysitter for her 5 and 7 year old brothers, as well. At 19 I started my first full-time nanny position, caring for 4 month old twins.
