My name is Jordy Epstein. I am 26 years old and am currently working part-time to accrue my hours towards becoming a licensed psychotherapist. I work with various populations, including adolescents and children. The first job I ever had was babysitting for a family with two children when I was 13 years old. Since then, I've worked with many families, spent summers as a camp counselor, and pursued a career in a field where I get to help people! I am passionate about working with children, establishing a trusting relationship while also providing a safe, secure, loving environment. I want to be of support to parents who work hard to provide beautiful, comfortable homes for their children. Prior to pursuing a career as a therapist, I worked for three years for a wonderful family with four children (age range 5-13) and a playful white labrador. I was responsible for transporting Read more the children to and from school, as well as their various extracurricular activities. I performed light housekeeping and cooking, tidying up the space every night before I went home. I helped with homework, test preparation, and sports practice. I would babysit on weekdays, week nights, and the occasional overnight when the parents were traveling. As a result of the trust they placed in me, the parents were able to go about their business without worry. In addition, I spent a year working part-time as a preschool teacher (2-3 year olds) while I completed my undergraduate degree. I am patient, caring, and willing to enforce the necessary boundaries to keep your child safe. I have my own car and have a fairly flexible schedule.
