I have been taking care of children since I was about 12 years old. I have a younger brother who is six years younger than me, so growing up, I spent a lot of time caring for him. I have babysat for numerous families and friends over the years, and have spent time with one family in particular for about 10 years before the children became old enough and no longer needed a nanny. When I was working towards my Associate's degree, I wanted to become an Elementary Education Teacher, so I took many Child Development and Teaching courses that have helped made me a better caregiver. I have also worked at numerous after-school programs as well as a few different Summer camps. I earned my Associates in Science in 2012, and am in my final course of completing my Bachelors, which I will earn at the end of April.
