Hi, my name is Sydney. I was born and raised in San Diego, California. I moved to Worcester, Massachusetts for four years to attend college. I graduated from Clark University in May 2013 with a Bachelor' s Degree in Sociology and a minor in Education. I have taken Early Childhood Education courses to continue my education and further my knowledge in Child Development. I plan to obtain a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential in the future. Although I am young, I have years of experience with children. I have worked with a variety of different children, ages ranging from infant to 18 years old. All through college, I worked in a classroom as a teacher' s aide. I assisted teaching in a preschool classroom, assisted in 1st grade classroom, and worked with special needs 3rd, 4th, and 6th graders. I have volunteered as a PAL volunteer for Horizons for Homeless Children and I participated as a sports coordinator for Unified Sports Special Olympics.
