Hi, my name is Mike Ryan and I am interested in part- time or full-time child care here in San Diego county. I have open and flexible availability. I have previously child care experience for two primary school boys for four years, a seven year old girl for one year, and a toddler for 6 months. A bit about me as a sitter: I believe in living an active lifestyle and being outdoors as much as possible. Eating healthy is important to me and for the health of the children I work with. I enjoy play and silliness, but am not afraid to put my foot down and safely discipline if and when needed. In my experience as a babysitter, I have helped and assisted with homework, studying and test prep, picked up from school and after school activities, field trips to festivals and parades, cooked and baked, played games, Read more read books, and assisted those that were under my care in the night time routine for going to bed. I have also worked with children in an activity setting, I have coached 7th grade basketball for two years and I had a blast! I am responsible, mature, and punctual. I also have experience care-taking for those with special needs. My older sister has autism, so I do have patience when it comes to developmental challenges.. I have a reliable, clean, non-smoking car. I am CPR and AED certified and I have first aid training. Outside of babysitting, I teach yoga classes, wait tables, and am pursuing my massage license. My hobbies include reading and writing. going for hikes, and watching movies.. My availability is Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings, and I am available on-call. Thank you for your consideration!
