Meet Miriam

  • Comfortable with pets
  • Has a car

As a particularly responsible individual, I have been babysitting since I was 9 years old. As a widow, I raised two boys by myself. I always drove the car pool, became room parent and paid specific attention to those after-school hours that included enrichment, homework, and musical instrument practice. I parented with a reward system rather than a punishment system. I was always the mom who cared for everyone’s children. My own sons are 25 and 22, scholarship winning students, gifted musicians, and most importantly, generous and kind. All of their friends call me mom and these young people are completely aware of how much I personally care about them and their families. I happen to be quite intuitive and experienced in many medical emergency situations including life-threatening allergies, symptom identification, CPR and more. I have been a professional musician for most of my life, but I have truly been Read more a caregiver always. I occasionally smoke clove cigars, but never around children..
