Why do you love being a sitter? I genuinely love being a sitter because it gives me the opportunity to build meaningful connections with children and their families. Every child is unique, and it brings me joy to support their growth, curiosity, and creativity in a safe and loving environment. Whether it’s exploring a new craft, reading a favorite story, or just being there to listen, I find purpose in being a steady and positive presence in a child’s life. What experience do you have? I have over 5 years of hands-on experience working with children of all ages, from infants to teens. My background includes private tutoring, mentoring, and professional roles in early childhood education and behavioral support. I’ve also worked closely with families in both home and school settings, giving me a well-rounded understanding of children’s developmental needs and routines. What skills and training do you have? I Read more am a behavior therapist, have been generally trained in family support and situational awareness, and have completed specialized training in child safety, crisis intervention, and psychological first aid. I am currently working on several certifications from institutions like Yale and Johns Hopkins, in psychological crisis management and mental health support and I’m currently pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice with a focus and emphasis on Criminal Psychology to lead to a Master’s in Psychology. I also have generalized ECE credits and adapt well to children with special needs, diverse backgrounds, or unique behavioral challenges. I can provide a background check upon request.
